Convent Glen Catholic School
In 1979 Convent Glen Catholic School opened its doors in a temporary portable complex located in the Convent Glen South area in the eastern section of Ottawa, Ontario. One year later the beautiful school building in Convent Glen North was opened. It is located at 6212 Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, Orleans, Ontario, K1C 2J7.
The school seeks to impart the core values of excellence, justice, stewardship, community, partnership and the dignity of all people. Key to the success of the school has been strong parental support of these core values.
The school also has a history of not only helping its community but also in helping communities in other countries.
Convent Glen Catholic School is home to the school board’s French Immersion Program for the area for grades 4 - 6. Students from Divine Infant Catholic School (148 students) and Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha (300 students) send students who are invited to participate in the program. Many of the students at Convent Glen Catholic have siblings at one of these schools resulting in an expansion of the Convent Glen Catholic School community.
