The annual Convent Glen Catholic School Fun Fair is scheduled for June 6, 2009 and will bring the school and the surrounding community together for a fun filled day of games, activities, food and community spirit. 

This event is designed to support the newly created Convent Glen Catholic School Special Projects Fund. This fund has been created to help the school’s students, teachers and staff support special projects designed to create a better environment for the school, the community and the world. Not only will the fund support special projects on its own but will also help support fundraising initiatives the students and staff create.

The first special project will be the planting of mature trees in the school’s yard and in the adjoining park. At this time the school yard and the park are without any trees or shade. An aerial map of the area is available by following this link: http://www.mapquest.com/mq/3-xKpBx8RM. 

This special project will not only benefit the students but the surrounding community as well. The addition of these trees will not only make it more inviting for people but it will also demonstrate the community’s understanding of the importance of protecting and maintaining our environment.
